Terms of service
The agreement covering use of QueKey authentication services.
Last updated July 2026
Acceptance
Using QueKey means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
What the service is
QueKey provides passwordless authentication built on OAuth 2.0, in which a live facial verification replaces a password.
- OAuth 2.0 authorization and token endpoints
- A verification engine performing liveness assessment and identity matching
- Sandbox and live environments
- Developer documentation and integration support
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate account information.
- Keep your client credentials secret. Anyone holding them can act as your application.
- Use the service lawfully, including obtaining any consent your jurisdiction requires before capturing biometric data from your own users.
- Do not reverse engineer, probe or attempt to circumvent the verification pipeline outside a channel we have agreed.
- Report security vulnerabilities to us privately before disclosing them.
Cost
QueKey is currently offered as a free pilot. There is no charge for access during the pilot programme, and no payment details are collected. Commercial terms for general availability will be agreed with you in writing before any charge applies — nothing on this page creates a payment obligation.
Availability
We work to keep the service continuously available and will announce planned maintenance ahead of time, but during the pilot programme we do not offer a guaranteed uptime figure and the service is provided as is. A service level commitment can be agreed as part of a commercial contract.
Biometric data
Your use of QueKey is also governed by our privacy policy. If you integrate QueKey into your own product, you are responsible for the lawful basis on which your users' biometric data is captured, and for telling them that verification is performed by QueKey on our infrastructure.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months preceding a claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Termination
Either party may end this agreement on thirty days' notice. After termination you may retrieve your data for ninety days, after which it is deleted.
